Recycled polyester (rPET) is a material obtained by recycling used plastic bottles. This process produces new polymers that are transformed into textile fibre, which, in turn, can be recycled again to create other plastic items.
rPET helps us reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and manage our resources more ethically: using products to their full potential.

Our Etna hiking shoes are made using eco-friendly materials, including recycled leather, recycled and recyclable PET laces and webbing, recycled polyester fabrics, rubber soles with 30% recycled material, and insoles and shoe liners made from recycled and recyclable material.
